RUNNING SCARED

 

Volunteers wanted to tell stories in the castle. An opportunity not to miss.

 

Typical Local Authority, though, There was an application form, the need for references and an interview.  I tried to make the answers interesting and got on the programme.

 

There were two days of intensive training with like minded individuals. We were immersed in the history of the castle and created appealing stories.

 

Full of confidence I arrived on the first day ready to capture the mood. I stepped into the room, took one look at the audience and ran off.

 

Three year olds can be very scary.
