I DIDN’T DO IT

 

“Terry did it,” said the other children when new winter coats were slashed.

 

Terry told his classroom assistant that he hadn’t done it and she believed him. No one else did. 

 

Terry was suspended for two days.

 

On the second day two coats were slashed. The school was in panic. Parents were alarmed.

Sandra searched around the cloakroom and found the blade from a pencil sharpener lying on the floor.

 

She found out that Ryan was the culprit.     

 

When Terry returned next day he worked hard with Sandra. He was determined to make a new start.
