A Macdrabble tale
THE WINDOW CLEANER
Mike’s been cleaning windows for 52 years. Man and boy. He’s a ladder man. None of this hydroponic malarkey.
When asked about the secret of his success he replied, as he drank his cup of tea:
“I’m an old fashioned window cleaner. I do port holes.”
What a clever ploy. When he’s finished we’re transported to other worlds. Out of our starboard window the houses and shops are transformed into the Canary Islands each with its own character. On the port side the garden becomes the Mediterranean cruise taking us to historic lands.
Four cruises a year. No passport needed.
