DOG LOVE

She’d never liked dogs Especially the jumpy,  licky ones. The attention seekers.

They made her blood freeze. She couldn’t bear them touching her. The more she cringed the more they jumped and the more they licked. They thought the ducking and diving was an invitation to play.

In this feeling of endless torment she met a dog that didn’t jump. It didn’t lick. It just sat at her feet looking up at her lovingly.

A rescue dog, subject to fits, Henry had discovered  the quiet nuzzle snuggle created love and trust.

Won over, she had been rescued...by a dog.
