TED-DOG FEELS AT HOME 

 

Ted-Dog was just a stuffed toy bear dog lying  upside down by the door, a neglected doorstop but he really wanted to be part of the family as a  friend just like Grandad Ted who had a ribbon and his own display box

Daddy treated him cruelly, kicking him into place but mummy picked him up, put on his hand knitted jumper and sat him down comfortably against the door. Ted-Dog smiled as she chatted to him.

“Well done,” daddy said the next time he passed. “Come and sit on the settee with me and be my pal.”
