Keeping fit in a social setting was what made John’s lessons so special. After three weeks he was already fitter and more knowledgeable.

Debbi’s exercises were gentle and used a chair to support the victims of falls. She interspersed the instructions with chat about current news items. It didn’t matter if some people talked more than exercised.

 

John’s ears pricked up when he heard that a machine had been invented to hoover up the space debris that had accumulated up there. Yvonne was pleased.

 

“It’s about time summat was done. It’s all that rammel up there that’s causing global warming.”
